MANAGER, ICT PROJECTS (JOB GRADE S7)REF: ICT/MP/ FEBRUARY 2025

a) Job Purpose
The job is responsible for the identification of priority ICT projects based on emerging technologies and industry trends as well as the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on all ICT projects.
b) Key Duties and Responsibilities
i. Managing multiple medium or large, complex, capital and non-capital ICT projects simultaneously;
ii. Establishing a defined project management methodology, accountable for the detailed planning of steps and resources needed to meet objectives;
iii. Monitoring and preparing reports to ensure work is progressing to meet the deliverables on time and on or under budget;
iv. Effectively applying ICT’s methodology and enforcing project standards;
v. Ensuring that in-flights reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all projects;
vi. Managing project-related risks and issues;
vii. Ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately; and
viii. Ensuring quality control for all projects.
c) Key Qualifications and Experience
i. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, Software Engineering, Information Security, Business Administration (IT option) from a recognized institution of higher learning
ii. Master’s degree is desirable
iii. A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory position
iv. Project Management Certification (PMI, PRINCE2, AGILE etc.) from a recognized body
v. ICT Professional qualification e.g. CISCO, SAP, ORACLE, HP, IBM, Checkpoint Security, ITIL, SSQL or MSCE
vi. Membership to a related professional body and in good standing
vii. Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
viii. Proficiency in Computer application
d) Skills and Competencies
Teamwork, good communication, interpersonal, supervisory and analytical skills
Terms and Conditions of Service
Permanent and pensionable terms as per the provisions of the Authority’s Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual.

(iv) Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-corruption Authority (EACC)
(v) Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
The clearance certificates should be valid and current. The self-declaration Form from EACC should indicate the respective position that is being applied for.
