The General Manager Operations and Safety is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for the operation and safety of all Airports and Airstrips under the management of Kenya Airports Authority. Working closely with the General Manager Security as well as other stakeholders including various ministries, regulatory bodies, security and safety agencies, the General Manager Operations and Safety is responsible for overseeing and confirming the implementation of ICAO standards as well as regulations and guidelines from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) in the operations of all KAA airports and airstrips.
