a) Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of an organization-wide ICT service management to ensure availability of efficient ICT systems in compliance with applicable policies, standards and best practices.

b) Key Duties and Responsibilities
i. Managing the performance of the ICT Service, ensuring that all user systems are available and data integrity is maintained at all times;
ii. Developing ICT services management policies, procedures and standards and ensuring that they are fully implemented;
iii. Ensuring that systems are comprehensively supported as per service level agreements with users;
iv. Ensuring provision of timely and accessible responsive service desk that supports the ICT users;
v. Maintaining an up-to-date inventory for the entire Authority’s ICT asset portfolio for effective planning;
vi. Reviewing and recommending on infrastructure and systems upgrades in line with changing business and technology needs; and
vii. Undertaking research in conjunction with other ICT and business functions to evaluate new products to ensure the Authority continues to take leverage of technology developments in the Industry.
c) Key Qualifications and Experience
i. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, Software Engineering, Information Security, Business Administration (IT option) from a recognized institution of higher learning
ii. Master’s degree is desirable
iii. A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory position
iv. IT Management Certification (ITIL, ITSM etc.) from a recognized body
v. ICT Professional qualification e.g. CISCO, SAP, ORACLE, HP, IBM, Checkpoint Security, ITIL, SSQL or MSCE
vi. Membership to a related professional body and in good standing
vii. Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
viii. Proficiency in Computer application

d) Skills and Competencies
Teamwork, good communication, interpersonal, supervisory and analytical skills

Terms and Conditions of Service
Permanent and pensionable terms as per the provisions of the Authority’s Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual.

(v) Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

The clearance certificates should be valid and current. The self-declaration Form from EACC should indicate the respective position that is being applied for.
