a) Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for managing aviation data to support strategic planning, operational efficiency and informed decision-making through accurate statistical reporting and analysis.

b) Key Duties and Responsibilities
i. Preparing detailed air traffic reports, including trend analysis and forecasting, using data driven predictive analytics;
ii. Enhancing strategic planning by integrating statistical insights and predictive data analytics for informed decision-making;
iii. Co-ordinating aviation data management and corporate planning by integrating data-driven insights into business planning and decision-making;
iv. Preparing and maintaining comprehensive airport statistical reports, including the Corporate Annual Report, ensuring alignment with industry best practices;
v. Establishing and maintaining a statistical database to support operational planning, benchmarking and regulatory compliance;
vi. Overseeing the implementation and management of the Airport Operational Database (AODB) to enhance real-time data availability for operational efficiency;
vii. Conducting financial and economic appraisals of airport projects, services and infrastructure developments based on data-driven financial models;
viii. Supporting corporate risk assessment through statistical modelling risk analysis to identify potential operational risks;
ix. Collaborating with the user department to incorporate statistical scenario analysis into the Business Continuity Plan; and
x. Leveraging on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to automate data collection, optimize resource allocation and improve forecasting accuracy.

c) Key Qualifications and Experience
i. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics or Business related from a recognized institution of higher learning
ii. Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or its equivalent from a recognized institution is desirable
iii. Minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience three (3) of which must be in a managerial/supervisory position
iv. Relevant postgraduate course/qualification where applicable
v. Professional qualification and membership to a relevant professional body where applicable
vi. Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
vii. Proficiency in computer applications

d) Skills and Competencies
Teamwork, good communication, interpersonal, supervisory and analytical skills.

Terms and Conditions of Service
Permanent and pensionable terms as per the provisions of the Authority’s Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual.

(v) Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

The clearance certificates should be valid and current. The self-declaration Form from EACC should indicate the respective position that is being applied for.
